A natty black-white seabird with a huge multicolored bill hangs out off the coast of Maine in the summer on EggRock not far from Monhegan Island.  He is called the Clown of the Sea. They fly about 50 miles per hour and look like a little bullet zooming by ~ They are small but mighty. Enjoy this Atlantic Puffin ~

Monhegan Island is located 10 miles off the coast of Maine.  This Island has brought many artists to a picturesque scene of rocky coast and one of the highest cliffs on the waters of Maine.  The painting is showing one of the oldest houses on the Island (The Sterling House).   One of our greatest artist, Jamie Wyeth also owns a home on the island.  Being from Maine it has been such an experience  to visit and paint on the island.  The Sunflowers shouted paint me!  Enjoy
