DAY 1, Painting 30 in 30 ~ INK ~ 2014 "CAMOUFLAGE"

Seeing this is the beginning of a new year 2014, I thought about taking a different approach in my art.
New concepts, not really, but..it is for me.  This INK painting I called "Camouflage" 8x10 takes me underwater where living colorful creatures hide and carry on in a world of fluidity and harmony. The Ebb and Flow of the swim ~

I saw this photo of this little girl while staying at a friends cottage in Maine.  It was so inspiring to me I asked permission to paint her.  It was a gift to give back to the mother of this beautiful child.  She looks angelic and peaceful.
