" SEASHELL"
Seashells are found along the beaches and collected by many shell pickers. It is delicate to look at yet, strong to with stand the pounding seas. I love collecting different kinds of shells, plus painting them is probably one of my favorite things to do. Enjoy ~

" FLAMING TORCHES"
Tall birches fill the blue sky with it's leaves of bright reds, orange and yellows. One of my favorite seasons, yet sad to see the Autumn come so soon. The turn of this season means the cold blanket of snow will cover the ground and all the colors will leave us until the snow starts to melt and the colors of Spring will appear.

' MOCHA LATTE' "
Here we have another cow, seeing they are so popular I thought it would be fitting to paint another!
My friend Carol said you should name the cow " Mocha Latte" " with that fluff on the top of his head and the brown in the face. Well, that is a good name!

" MOONA LISA"
DAY 10 of 30 days of painting has been challenging but at the same time keeps me thinking and always creating. This painting was inspired by a photo I took this summer on my way to Wolf's Neck State Park, Freeport, Maine. A group of cows were in the pasture and this sweet cow came close for a little visit. The cow had a look I had to capture on canvas/paper. Enjoy ~

"QUEEN ANNE'S LACE"
MONHEGAN ISLAND, MAINE
It's said that Anne, Queen of Great Britain and her great grandmother Anne of Denmark, are taken to be the Queen Anne for which the plant is named. It is so called because the flower resembles lace: the red flower in the center is thought to represent a blood droplet where Queen Anne pricked herself with a needle while making lace. While visiting the island I walked along a path and came across this beautiful field of Queen Anne's Lace with the visual of ocean and fence, sailboats and a New England home, what a perfect painting it would make. This is an original painting, watercolor 22x15- hope you enjoy and take time to rest and be in the moment~

"PEEK -A- BOO" Sunflowers on Monheghan Island Maine, USA
Monhegan Island is located 10 miles off the coast of Maine. This Island has brought many artists to a picturesque scene of rocky coast and one of the highest cliffs on the waters of Maine. The painting is showing one of the oldest houses on the Island (The Sterling House). One of our greatest artist, Jamie Wyeth also owns a home on the island. Being from Maine it has been such an experience to visit and paint on the island. The Sunflowers shouted paint me! Enjoy

" TWO PINES" Watercolor
This lovely Maine Scene is all about the solitude of islands and coves along the shores of Maine. Pines trees hold on with their roots clinging to the rugged aged environment .
