Seashells are found along the beaches and collected by many shell pickers.  It is delicate to look at yet, strong to with stand the pounding seas.  I love collecting different kinds of shells, plus painting them is probably one of my favorite things to do. Enjoy ~

Hi Shelby,
I love your shell! I have been somewhat captivated by scallop shells during this 30 day Challenge. You can see what I mean if you go to Day 6 on my blog: http://cagleyart.blogspot.com/2015/09/day-6-30-paintings-30-days-september.html
The shell design plays a role in several subsequent posts as well. :o)
